Social media was shocked by videos of violence against pregnant women in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. In this viral video, two men can be seen kicking the stomach of a pregnant mother and her husband.
The incident occurred in Tembung, Deli Serdang Regency. According to reports, the two perpetrators of violence have been arrested by the authorities, Bunda.
Based on the video seen on Thursday (4/6/2026), it appeared that a motorcyclist was stopping. The two of them are known to be husband and wife.

At least, there were around three people surrounding the husband and wife couple. Two of them abused the victims.
One of the men wearing camouflage trousers was seen kicking the woman in the stomach. The woman looked in pain while holding her stomach.
The violence did not stop, other men cursed while beating the pregnant woman’s husband. The pregnant mother continued to scream hysterically when she saw her husband being beaten by the perpetrator.
According to the person who uploaded the video, the woman who was the victim of the violence was currently pregnant. “A husband and wife were assaulted by thugs in the Tembung tunnel, during a brawl. The condition of the wife was that she was pregnant,” said the narrative of the upload.
This case of violence experienced by a pregnant woman and her husband has been handled by the authorities, Mother. Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Adrian Risky Lubis said that his party had arrested the two perpetrators.
