WONOGIRI – Good news comes from PLN UP3 Sukoharjo. Postpaid electricity services are now open again to the public. This information was conveyed directly in the Gentara Radio 107.1 FM “Public Space” program, Wednesday 18 June 2025, 11.00-12.00 WIB, which can also be listened to via radiogentara.com.
Three representatives from PLN were present as resource persons: Aufrida Ratih C, Restituta Puspita S, and Siti Yamini. In the broadcast, they explained the reasons for reopening postpaid services, the benefits offered, and the application process.
“We see the enthusiasm of people who want to return to using postpaid services. Many customers feel more comfortable paying for monthly electricity rather than having to top up tokens continuously,” explained Aufrida Ratih C, SOF PAT MAN PLN UP3 Sukoharjo.
In contrast to the prepaid system, postpaid customers can use electricity first and pay according to the bill at the end of the month. This system is considered more practical for customers with busy routines, large households, or business people.
“The advantage is that customers don’t need to worry about electricity going out suddenly because they forgot to fill in the token. Apart from that, electricity usage is easier to monitor and record regularly,” said Siti Yamini, Team Leader Sales and Retail PLN UP3 Sukoharjo.
To access this service, customers can come directly to the PLN office or via the PLN Mobile application. The process is easy, fast, and does not incur additional fees.
Restituta Puspita S added, “We want to give customers freedom. Both postpaid and prepaid are still available. Please choose the one that best suits your individual needs and lifestyle.”
Not only conveying service information, the “Public Space” program is also a means of electricity education. The public is reminded to use electrical installations that comply with standards, not make illegal connections, and regularly check the condition of installations at home to ensure they remain safe.
At the end of the broadcast, the PLN team also emphasized the importance of paying electricity bills on time. “Paying electricity before the due date helps maintain PLN’s cash flow so that electricity distribution remains smooth to all customers. This is a form of our shared responsibility,” emphasized Aufrida Ratih C.
The presence of PLN Sukoharjo postpaid electricity services provides flexible options that are more comfortable and safe for people in the digital era. Through synergy with local media such as Radio Gentara, public information can be conveyed widely and directly reach the community.
