The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 Automotive Exhibition has become the main focus with the presence of the two latest Hybrid flagship models from Lexus, namely LX 700H and LC 500H. Both are presented as a symbol of Lexus transformation to full electrification, offering a combination of modern luxury and high efficiency. The official launch took place on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, and delivered by Lexus Indonesia General Manager, Ima Nurbani Rahmah.
Lexus LX 700H: A dashing luxury SUV
Lexus LX 700H features a design that is combined between aggressive and elegant. This car is equipped with a typical Lexus special frameless spindle grille, giving a modern and sharp appearance. Mild 22 -inch alloy wheels are also a special attraction, without sacrificing strength. Powered by a 3,500cc hybrid V6 engine, LX 700H is capable of producing power reaching 457 hp. With this performance, this luxury SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.5 seconds.
Other features of the LX 700H are varied off-road mode features, including Auto, Dirt, Sand, Mud, Deep Snow, and Rock. Thus, LX 700H is ready to face various challenges, both in urban areas and in nature adventures.
Lexus LC 500H: Sporty Coupe with a Premium Touch
On the other hand, the Lexus LC 500H is present as a sporty coupe who puts forward futuristic designs. With a hybrid engine with a capacity of 3,500cc, LC 500H can spray maximum power reaching 354 hp. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5 seconds, making it one of the interesting options in the segment of environmentally friendly sports vehicles.
The interior and exterior design of the LC 500H uses premium material, providing a driving experience that is not only dynamic, but also comfortable and efficient. The maximum speed of LC 500H reaches 250 km/hour, making it one of the models that attract attention at the GIIAS 2025 event.
Lexus electrification commitment
In addition to the launch of two new models, Lexus also revealed important achievements related to electrification of all its models. “We are proud because we have reached the target to have 100 percent of electrification vehicles in all of our line-up models in 2025,” said Ima Nurbani Rahmah. Until the end of 2024, 97 percent of Lexus sales came from electrification models that had helped reduce carbon emissions by 50 percent compared to previous years.
