After defending the U-23 national team, Robi Darwis and Kakang Rudianto received a prize from Persib

Two young players of Persib Bandung, Robi Darwis and Kakang Rudianto, have just returned from the State duties with the Indonesian U-23 national team in the 2025 AFF U-23 Cup. As a form of appreciation for their contribution, Persib coach, Bojan Hodak, gave prizes in the form of a holiday two days before the two re-joined the squad. This short holiday is expected to help them recover after a series of tight matches they lived with Garuda Muda, who managed to advance to the final and won the runner-up position in the tournament.

Bojan Hodak, in a press conference held at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), stated that he wanted to give a longer rest time for both. However, due to the tight schedule of Persib which includes the launching of the team and friendly matches, only a short holiday can be given. “I want to give him a chance of more holiday, but it can’t be because we will hold a launch and friendly match, and the Super League will start next week,” said Bojan.

The two players are planned to return to training on Friday, August 1, 2025. Although Bojan acknowledged the desire to give a longer holiday, the reality of the next competition schedule forced him to limit the rest time given. This shows how important the mature preparation ahead of the Super League 2025-2026 competition, where Persib itself must appear optimal.

Persib Bandung has a series of important agendas in the near future. The club with the nickname of Maung Bandung will launch a new team as well as a new jersey for the 2025-2026 season on August 2, 2025, at the GBLA Stadium.
